Drawing to Explain Repentance (Metanoia)

Repentance in the Bible is not about performing works of penance—it is about metanoia, a deep change of mind that leads to a transformed life. Through simple drawings, trainers learn how to explain this truth clearly so that even illiterate learners can grasp it. The goal is to return to the biblical meaning of repentance and help others experience freedom rather than burdens of religion

Who is God? What is that to me? What is

Holiness?

Understanding repentance and God’s holiness is both simple and profound. This session (1.1C YHWH’s Holiness) explores who God is, why He is holy, and what that means for your life today.

Repentance – My Account

This booklet shares a personal journey of discovering the true meaning of metanoia—repentance as a “change of mind” about Christ and everything else. It contrasts the biblical teaching with how the Latin mistranslation of repentance as “penance” led the church into a religion of works.  Click on the booklet to download and begin your journey.

Repentance in the Light

This booklet invites you on a journey to discover God’s holiness. True repentance is not just feeling sorry but stepping into the light—confessing, turning from sin, and walking in harmony with God’s holy character.  Click on the booklet to download and begin your journey.

Sin – Separation: How the Cross Saves Us

In this video, you will learn how sin creates a chasm between us and a holy God—and how the cross of Christ bridges that gap. The drawing begins with God on one side and you on the other, separated by sin. Arrows that miss the target show what it means to “fall short,” while images like an eye (obvious sins), a heart (hidden sins), and a skull (death) reveal the seriousness of sin. Then a cross is drawn as the bridge, showing Jesus as the only way back to God. Simple yet powerful, this drawing helps explain how to deal with sin through repentance, confession, the Holy Spirit, and God’s grac
